Mumbai: Yug Astop, was unstoppable and performed a marathon innings recording an unbeaten double century knock of 227 to put Goregaon Centre in a powerful place in opposition to Juhu Centre on the primary day of their 2-day second spherical match of the 26th Late Ajit Naik Memorial Below-14 choice trials cricket event 2023, organised by WSC below the aegis of the Mumbai Cricket Affiliation and performed on the Goregaon SC floor on Monday.
Despatched in to bat, Goregaon batters punished the Juhu bowlers, with Yug main the best way with a 195-ball innings whereas Ram Shandilya cracked a 125-ball 105 runs And Arham Jain added 32 runs as Goregaon Centre declared their 1st innings after scoring a mammoth 377 runs for 3 wickets in 61.2 overs. Juhu Centre was reeling at 18 for the lack of 2 wickets from 6 overs on the finish of first day’s play.
In one other match, Shahid Khan 130 (130-balls, 14×4,4×6) and Aarav Malhotra 121 (86-balls, 10×4,8×6) powered Bhyander Municipal Floor Centre to large 1st innings complete of 349 for five wickets declared from 57 overs in opposition to Payyade Centre, Kandivali. Payyade Centre within the remaining 12 overs managed to attain 71 runs for the lack of one wicket.
